I didn't read all four pages but it seems the one poster sensationalizing the topic isn't even a member anymore.......

Their threads version of a troll?

That was interesting reading, especially as next time we go to Orlando I've been told we are renting a bike.

The other LEO's who were riders seemed to be making some progress with Blue and then it all kind of went pear shaped on the eighth page when a rider showed up throwing his weight around and name calling.

Sad and I suspect that a lot of the work done to bring blue round was wasted in just a couple of posts.

I couldnt even get past a page of that. It makes me sick that people given that much power and responsibility would just go and say hey you have a sportbike so let me try and "fudge" you over as much as possible. Its not right for an officier to submit there personal feelings when doing their job. If it was up to me every one of them would be retrained.

Funny thing is "all" those "stunt riders" on their sportbikes run when they are about to be pulled over....last time i was pulled over i was stopped and taking off my helmet before the LEO was all the way across traffic. (he was in the median of the highway and couldnt get through traffic) i didnt even consider running, he pointed at me and i kicked her down to neutral and coasted to the berm. i may have actually had my wallet out by the time he was stopped behind me. i hate being stereotyped!!! i have fairings i must be a stunter. too bad my 250 doesnt allow for large wheelies. if im gonna be lumped into the dumb "o-ring" group i would at least like to have the bike that fits the bill.

Just as in any other hot topic you're going to have a spectrum of replys. Some of those posts are just really sad.

No matter what/how these guys are trained you can't cut out the "human" factor!
Some are "ok" guys some are "righteous" guys and some are "A$$Holes".

The officer should be encouraged by his superiors to re-think his position, and perhaps requested to join a motorcycle advocacy group (e.g. AMA) to gain a more balanced point of view.

You should be stripped of your internet connection, then sent to bed without your supper.

Grow up.
