regarding lines... why should i be near the yellow whan it's a left hand turn and near the white on a right hand turn?
shouldn't i be doing an outside-inside-outside line?
thanks again.

when doing a proper line your apex point is by the yellow line in a left turn and the white line in a right turn. Thats what I was trying to get across. you still start and end on the outside edge of the lane.

Keep in mind, that's for racing, not street or group riding. In a group ride, you want to start and end and ride through the whole turn about 1 ft from whichever line you're supposed to be near in the staggered formation.
Weaving back and forth across the lanes just makes for trouble in a group. Unless you've agreed to be doing that before hand.

ok, but i give mad props to my sis and her BF, they're the ones in a car but they're on a convertible, so that's why the wind is so loud.
he actually burned out his brake pads during this run and im glad he didn't run me over. anyway... he's a good driver.
He burned out his brakes?? How slow were you going?

i dunno, i never looked at my speedo since im so busy paying attention to the road.
he said it burned out bec he was accelerating hard and then braking hard to avoid hitting me when i enter turns.
and this is somewhere around valencia or santa clarita, im not quite sure.

Verm, I'm far from knowing anything, but like others mentioned, I'm impressed by the throttle control. Looks like you're really trying to do right and learn the mechanics of how to ride rather than just getting a rush from twisting the wrist. <---That will get you in trouble in hurry if you don't know the mechanics.
You looked a little reserved in leaning into the turns. I think that will come with time as you trust the bike more. Like you said it was a new road for you, so taking it easy on an unfamiliar road is smart.
All in all, looks like a nice day to go out.

thanks.
yes, i do need more confidence leaning low.
but i think even if i get familiar w/ that road. i still won't be able to go as fast as i want since if i don't see the whole turn, i always hesitate to speed.
most of the turns are blocked by bushes or by the mountain itself.
anyway... it's better to be slower and safer on blind corners.
can't wait to get trackdays... im sure all the turns will be visible on it.
