What you need most is a service manual for your bike. It will tell you good stuff like what size socket you need for the plugs and where every last bit of stuff is.

Your air filter can be found with a little looking. Find your carbs. Attached to the backside of them will be some sort of boot or connection leading to a plastiv box someplace, probably under the seat. Some place with-in that whole assembly, you will find an air filter.... or at least a place where one is sposed to be. Basically, follow the carbs back...... it can't be all that far away.

I'll second that. If you lack a service manual, proper tools and a basic knowledge of where to find things like the air cleaner, I recommend you not take anything else apart until you have a manual. You're just asking for trouble at this point.

HELL YA!

okay, so i just went to a hardware store...got me a whole set of tools + extentions (the spark plugs are ALL the way in there)

anyway, got them out, went to kolbe cycle sales and bought two new plugs...popped em in there and now it works fine! ...doesn't stall anymore..

its still a street fighter......but idk, it feels like the bike lost some power.....can it be because of the wind shield? if not, what else can it be? ....the air filter maybe? ...its too dark out right now, will check it out tomorrow....hopefully i'll find it.

P.S. when i opened up the plugs....you know how there is a big piece of plastic that goes around the OTHER end of the plugs? the left one was/looked fine....but the right one, (where i was spraying water from) has some green stuff in it...like algee....can/does that affect performance at all?

That green stuff is corrosion of the copper in the brass connector. It is bad. Clean it off as good as you can.

That 'big piece of plastic that goes around the OTHER end of the plugs' is called the sparkplug boot. You need a service manual so bad, I can taste it.

There's a good chance you will have to remove a lid or cover on the airbox before the filter can jump out and bite your azz.....

Looks like the top cover unscrews and the filter slots down into the airbox from the top from that link to Bike Bandit......

...service manual...... must... get... service manual...
