Going for a romp..... well that's just plain ol' fun, no matter what the context.

Going for a chew..... I guess you had to grow up on a dirtbike to get that one.

If you really think about it, they sound like more fun than 'going for a spin', and more exiting than 'going for a cruise'*, don't they?

* appologies to the cruiser clan here. Whatever floats yer boat.....

Well, it looks like I'm leaving for Jasper on Friday the 30th. Camping there for the night, and hopefully heading south through the mountains and popping out in Sylvan lake on Sat. Spend the night there and head home.

I'm sure you could plot an intercept course. And I know you have a friend who lives there

Sounds workable. I was maybe heading in to Red Deer to pick up a chain and sprockets that day anyways. Now I got more reason to do it.
