usualy when you ride, and when you get off you bike you find yourself at work, that's considered "Riding to work"

Read what I wrote, I just got OFF nightshifts and rode home. So I got off my bike, and found myself, not at work, but at home.

I went in to work at 1900 on Tuesday the 20th and got home at 0715 on Wed the 21st. So did I make the grade or not?

Oh, right. No, I'd say that would be "Riding Home". But I suppose if you go in tonight before midnight then you might consider yourself partiipating in "Ride to Work" day.

Apparently the originators of "Ride to Work" day werent concerned with the ride home, otherwise they would of called it "Ride to Work, and Ride to Home" day.

Well until I can work out how to get my business customers to hop on the back of the bike, I'll have to make do with the car for work, except for days like the one coming up of course.....

oops. I just realized that day is a month from now. I thought it was today. I'm guessing Sev did too.

Oh well, not like it makes a difference. I ride every day.

Looking forward to seeing some more bikes on the road!

riding to work isn't too scary for me since i can park it really close to the building and there's surveillance cams.

but riding to anywhere else that i need to leave her for a long time, like school... i'll just bring my car.

so it's cool... i'll ride to work on that day.

I got in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for the first time in a month the other night. I tried to lean into the first turn. Luckily I didnt hit my head on the window because it was open.

Man... every day is ride your bike day for me. Just as long as the water on the ground hasn't tranformed itself into a hard or powdery substance... I ride.

No offense to anyone here... but am I the only one who hates the over abundance of "do something or acknowledge someone" days that have become the norm? Like Secretaries Day, for instance...

You're a flippin' secretary. Why the hell do I need to have a day to celebrate something that is your chosen profession? It's called a job. Nobody's celebrating Garbageman Day or EMT Day... why in the hell do we need to celebrate your ability to take notes and answer phones???

Or cancer awerness month? I'm already aware that there is a disease called cancer and it's horrible that anyone contracts said disease... but do we really need a whole month to acknowledge this disease?

I understand the idea behind celebrating Memorial Day, Christmas, President's Day, etc... but it seems we've gone over the top with the need to acknowledge some group or section of peoples?

The only problem I have is I haven't see a bike unless it is on the internet for the last 6 months. But you bet you sweet rear end if I had a bike I would ride it to work.

Can't you borrow one of those diesel powered KLR 650s from the marines?

Sev, if you ride to work that night, your still riding to work on the day...even if you allready rode home from work earlier/.... ummm..isnt shift work fun?!!! (4X4 schedual here 10.5H)
