I can understand the dealer's position on this -- just too many liability issues.

I totally agree. But like I said, CycleGear gives you 30 days to wear the helmet (while riding and sweating) and exchange it if it's not right. I was wondering if the dealer might have some recourse with the distributor on helmet returns, like refurbishing or something.

What i'd really like to do is find out why i can't get any ventilation in it. Other than that, it's an awesome helmet. Especially the internal flip down sun visor.
