Is 60 HP too much for a beginner bike?

i got a gs500f start of the year about 40hp and it was planty i had a few slip ups with that came off the road a few times when i first got it. i have forgoten about the stand afew times and droped it and i have hit a car and went over the bars. so far no injurys. but repairs cost abit

Glad to hear you are OK. Good choice on getting a beginner bike that like, it sounds like you are kind of accident-prone.

Well last year I had a Buell Blast as my first bike, it was plenty good for a learning bike, only about 30HP and 30FT lbs of torque, I droped it 4 times total, all of them where stupid noobie mistakes, I'm just glad I wasn't on a more powerfull bike when they happened.

Anyways I got 2500$ trade in on my blast, I paid 2600$ for it so it wasn't a bad deal at all.
