Stats on the curves on SH67 (counted them today):

9 miles = 112 curves x 2 (incl way back) = 18 miles with 224 curves!!!

Not quite Deals Gap but for only being 15 miles from home

300 miles of FUN

#12 Unread post by M109R »

Sorry, still no pics, but when I hit these routes again I'll be sure to post some. Just imagine lots and lots of yellow warning signs with 300 deg circles and 15 mph, sharp right/left 25 mph, steep grade 8% sharp curves next 7 miles, etc...etc...etc... Colorado is riding paradise!!!!!!

Just came back from 300 miles of PURE FUN!!! Hit lots of canyons too many curves to count and some of the most incredible scenery you could imagine. Riding thru the canyons is incredible and most of the roads have been freshly paved.

Took Morrison to Evergreen to Begen Park down 103 to Mt Evans up to Idaho Springs up to Central City to Nederland to Ward to Lyons down 36 to Altoona Lefthand Canyon Drive to Jamestown back down to Nederland 119 down to Boulder and 93 to 470 back.

What a great ride!!

If you want a riding vacation, ship your bike out here or rent one (almost all the HD stealers rent out here $128/dy unlimited miles) You will have a blast!!

Can't wait for the next ride!

Colorado Ride

Another Beautiful Ride:

I took awesome afternoon ride tonight at 5:30pm (to beat the heat.) Went down to Deckers via Sedalia SR67 (don't sweat the dirt road at Sprucewood if you go RIGHT at the fork. It's only 2 miles to pavement and in VERY good condition with very little dust/gravel.) Then I headed up 126 to 285 and headed down to Indian Hills (Myers Gulch Road) up 74 to Evergreen (had dinner) then back down to Morrison and into the city for a little cruising. HAD A BLAST!!!

Night Ride

Night Ride

Tonight was finally a cool one and I couldn't resist getting out for a ride.

The breeze was cool and wonderful and the traffic was light. Something about riding the bike at night with a cool breeze hitting you can't be beat! SOOO RELAXING..bye bye stress.... :-)

Couldn't believe I only saw two bikes out!! So much better than sitting on the couch watching TV.
