The exhaust is factory. It is steel, painted black. I also doubt you can talk the guy down that much unless he's desperate. You might get him down a few hundred, but that's about all. The bike looks like it's in pretty good shape, don't look like it has been off-road much if at all.... he will probably get close to what he's asking for it.

i had him at 1700 yesterday, was gonna buy it friday. Sold it for 2500 today, darn.

That's a bummer for you, but not surprising. He got lucky and found a buyer who was willing to go fair market value. Would have been a good deal for you if you could have snagged it for 1700 though.....
