I know exactly where to find one. It's in my garage.

When you say no one has one I assume that you mean no dealership near you has one. And even that I find hard to believe.

I made up my mind on a 1100 and my dealer talked me into a 800, lied to me telling me its just as fast as any 1100, the true bike of my dreams is the Suzuki DL1000 V Strom, all I do is dream about that bike, I dream im riding my V Strom with my friends that own Hondas VTX1800 and they pass me pointing and laughing at me, then I gear down and pass them at 160 mph like they are standing still

I have never seen a Hornet in a dealership, or a 599 if you wish. I have seen only one elsewhere and it was a write off that only had a few scratches on it, I kid you not. I was picking up my Bandit and the owner wheeled this thing out and asked me to try and find $8,000 worth of damage on it. I laughed but he wasn't joking.

I was at a dealer yesterday he has a new 06 V Strom 1000 and he quoted me a price of $5200 out the door with the trade in of my 05 M50, offered me a test ride on a demo 650 V Strom but I refused, going to shop around for a better price

599.. few in bay area

I am eyeing on 599 too. And yes, it is not a cheap bike to start with, especially compare with SV650 or 650R. But I really can't resist the design of it...very nicely done

BTW, has anyone seen, or know the 2007 Honda CB600/599 yet? I saw some picts online, and wonder when they will make it to the US... :o

We have two low mile mint 599's at the local (largest in the southeast) bike dealership.
New the bike is so expensive, $1500 more than an SV!!!

But...., the bike is a CBR600F3 motor with just a hair shy of 90hp stock, great chassis for experienced rider. It really handles.

The 919 is a great bike, but for a new rider, or a smaller rider its alot of bike (Im 6 foot 1, 250 lbs ) I rode it and I love it but its bulky ( kinda like a sportier version of my Nighthawk).
Id say the Bandit or SV make the best starter. ( choose which riding position you like best).
