Here it's an MA thing. We're a no fault state and everyone's premiums are much higher. Plus lots of people in MA get into accidents - almost everyone drives like jerks. Could be that Rhode Island has mandatory insurance laws and we're just getting gouged.

Generally, at least in VA, and my Pops says most anywhere, insurance rates on cars drops when you turn 25. He said it probably applies to motorcycles too. That being said, I've been working quotes on Progressive Direct online w/suzuki c50, dl650, honda spirit 750, and none of the rates were above $700/yr. 19yo/VA.
