Anyway, Roofsburger is probably not a good example...after all, he smashed up his bike and basically walked away from his accident with no more hurt than he would've received for carrying an ipod through central park.... if he can do it, so can somebody's brother in law.

Bad comparison...that accident would have happened if he had been riding a 50cc moped.

This is funny. A couple years ago he suggested that I take out an insurance policy on him because of his "dangerous" job. (He spends a lot of time on roofs) He told me that anyone can take out a policy on anyone with their permission. Anyway, I was joking with my wife last night that I should take him up on his offer now. Morbid. Life is sometimes morbid. It is realistic to consider him as a potential fatality. Maybe if you seriously said, "hey, remeber when we talked about me taking out insurance on you?". Let him know that you now think it may make sense. Reality shows those in his catagory lead in motorcycle accident. Many make it out alive and even without a wreck, but taking a chance when you could do it the right way is careless. If you could make him see that bike could be appropriate if he would lead up to it, instead of starting on it. Like a pilot starting in an f-15 - makes no sense until you learn the dynamics of more basic equiptment.isnowbrd wrote:This is funny. It's not so much making fun of him as marginalizing him... he's irrelevant to anything... why bother remembering how his name is spelled... or spelling it right for that matter. It's like trying to remember the name of a McDonnald's Employee.
