i like that camera since it's a stand alone... i don't need to hook it up to a camera recorder...
i don't have trackdays yet but it'll still be fun for the canyons.

im just concerned about securely mounting it.

helmet cam central's take on the ATC-1000
They've got a lot of helmetcam setups reviewed, ranging from $100 products (like the ATC-1000) up to some quality gear.

I don't have much experience with cameras, but I do know that Cycle Gear has one. Check it out

do you have a link to a 15fps vid?
EDIT: nevermind... i saw one... it's pretty crappy.

I'm a noob when it comes to cameras. What does fps stand for? I'm guessing feet per second.

It's not so much the FPS (which should be 30... 24 is for movie making wannabes) as the general quality.
FPS = frames per second. 12 is the minimum to perceive motion, 24 is what movies use, 25 is what European TV uses, 30 is what North American TV uses.
