In most cases you're right...but there are sport bikes out there that'll fit tall riders comfortably. Unfortunately most are big CC advanced bikes, but they exist. My Daytona fits me like a charm, but I wouldn't put anyone without decent riding experience on it.

why are you looking at a sport bike? not saying you shouldnt. but I sure hope you are not looking at them because of your size. Thats the opposite way to go. standards and dualsports will be much better suited to a larger rider. seems every 600 out there is designed for someone at least a foot shorter than you.
