Um, because I commute and need to look professional for my job? My hair style is of such that can be a bit mussed if I can anticipate your next question.

Oh, and to answer the next obvious one; no, I'm not gay. <cheesy grin>

Just metrosexual. ;)

Joking aside, the truck stop advice was probably the best... thinking back, I've seen them there. Another place I've seen them is Harbor Freight.... if you have a store nearby that's probably your cheapest option.

Hey now, I work at a "good" hardware store.

My helmet has washable pads but I'd prefer to keep the hair products and sweat out of it as much as possible.

why are you using hair products before you ride?
That's funny. You were making a joke right? Right? Say yes.

I've bought two at different motorcycle shops and just recently found two at a gun show (both camo) and paid about five dollars each for them. Keeps the helmet clean and drier on the inside. I forgot to look at the tag to see if it's dew or doo.

I always wear one under the helmet. Keeps the head sweat off the helmet, adds some comfort and provides something soft to clean your lenses or faceshield with at the gas station when the bugs get bad and you don't want scratches from a paper towel.

A truck stop? But aren't there, like, truckers that go there and stuff!? Eww.

Just kiddin'.

Seriously, thanks for the replies. Well, most of them anyway... <snicker>
