neutral instead of second gear ???...

interesting concept. I guess ill find out how hard it really is when I get a bike but it just seems normal to slam it into gear rather than ""wimp" foot" it like said above lol.

what's "pre-loading" a shift ??? by the way when i was riding today it went good, not once did i shift into neutral when i didnt want to. thanks for the tips.

pre loading the shifter is just putting light pressure on the shifter with your toes before you actually shift. when you are ready to shift roll off the throttle a little, squeeze the clutch lever until the clutch disengages, and since you already have pressure on the shifter it should just "snickt" into gear.

ah, so what im doing when im doing clutchless shifting is called "pre-loading" the shifter.

nice to know the term for it. :D

you can clutchless shift without "pre-loading" too if you know your gearbox/engine speed combos...

Noooooo...... it's called clutchless shifting :frusty: . When you pre-load, you aren't shifting gears.

nope.

pre-loading is just applying pressure to the shifter before you shift, if you choose to do it before shifting, it's not required.
