I might look into that one. Thanks. Where would I start? I have had a hard time finding aftermarket parts for the GS.

It's good you wear your gear. Glad no serious injuries. What about frame sliders for your bike?

I was thinking about putting then on the bike but there is alot of dead space between the frame and the fairing.

did your pegs scrape before you low-sided?
were you hanging off the bike?
hanging off conserves lean angle so if you weren't hanging off... you might wanna practice it.
To answer you questions. No the pegs did not scrape. When I hit the line the bike slid alittle and bieng a newb I had no idea what to do. So we went down. And no I was not hanging off of the bike. I dont know the proper way to do it. Plus I never had to use it before. So between those two reasons I have never practiced it.

Don't worry about practicing hanging off of the bike. Verm thinks he is V. Rossi. There is no way you should need to hang off a bike unless you are doing some SERIOUS cornering.

I never needed to. I was trying to take the corner at 35. The sign said i should be doing 30 around it.

what? that's weird... you must be going way faster than 35.
im not as fast yet like the other guys, but i take 30mph corners at 50-60mph and im still not dragging knee.

The bike started going to the outside of the corner(it was a decreasing radius turn). So I did what I thought was right and pushed harder. The bike started cutting back in and the front tire hit the newly painted lines on the road. The next thing I know is I am sitting in the gravel along the side of the road.
