Of the 2 tickets I've gotten in my life (both in the car before I decided that speeding was not worth it - ahem, after a $500 ticket for 15 over on an interstate many years ago, back when they were all 60) one was for a rolling stop through a stopsign. When the cop pulled me over I said "oops, I guess I did a California stop there."...that seemed to just make him mad

That's funny, I've only heard it called a California roll...haha.

WOW! That's rough man. I got a $135 ticket for going 20 over in Maryland. That sucks. How many points was it? I had 2 points but got probation before judgement so nothing on my record.

Only ticket I've gotten was a parking ticket where they towed my car. Was definitely a hassle. Thing was I was about to leave also and was inside for no more than 5 minutes, yet I had received a ticket and been towed by than. Seems to me the tow truck was following the cop car to me.

Almost got ticketed or even worse for wise mouthing about an officer in a biker trap they set up to check for modifications of sorts.
Him: Improper lane change
Me (turning to another biker): cite his mom for failure to use a condom before having him.
Him: What was that now?
Me: What was what? Bacon? I might have wanted ham when I get home.
Him: think its funny? you're looking at nice slip if you keep it up.
Me: You're looking at the employment line when I get you're badge number, I don't have anything illegal here and I changed lanes because you cut us off.
His Partner:He checks out. (To me) Just get the f**k out of here.
I edited this to cut out the extremes I went to plus I went to my recorder to listen to the playback.

I gotta say im not worried to much about the tickets, its the insurance that really bugs me. Being 19 and having a pencil already means you pay ridiculous rates, but tack on a speeding ticket and having to pay insurance with that for the three years its on your license and you pay like 2k over time. after that the $150 ticket seems insignificant.

if my tickets were only $150 i wouldnt be so worried. the last one was 700 bucks plus i had to do forty hours community service and take a defensive driving class. georgia bends you over the table when youre speeding in a construction zone.

That is a lot of stuff. Way too much imo.

Yeah...we all know it's your clothing that determines if you're a squid or not. Everyone here who over-uses the word rides a sportbike and speeds every day.
