On my Rebel i'm pretty much stuck at 75mph and sometimes a little over that, but I've had my S50 to 115mph and it felt like my helmet was going to come off. The bike had a little more but I didn't. Getting older slows you down in more ways then just one. On the interstate I set my throttle lock to 80mph and use the rest of it for passing.

I consistently ride 10-20kph over the limit whenever I am on the bike. On group rides we generally double the posted limit.

Pretty much what everyone else has stated. Not too much over on residential.
-Most streets around my house are 55 once you get out of the neighborhoods so I go about 60-65 since everyone is afraid to go that fast.
-Freeways I go about 70-75 in a 55 and don't really ride the 65 or 75 PSL areas.
I am not a top speed freak, I cannot justify going over 100 anytime unless it's a race track.

Well generally I stick to these guidelines.
30MPH or below areas, stick to the speed limit, maby 5mph over at most.
55MPH: generally go 5-10 over.
75MPH: generally I will speed about 0-10 over depending on my mood in these areas.
There are times however that I feel the crazy urge, but I think these are my worst road rage incedents.
50MPH in a 30.
110MPH in a 55.
130MPH in a 75 (don't think my bike will go much over 130)

Too fast will be when I get caught and ticketed.

im not going to lie, sometimes on the freeway ill gun it to 130 or so for a split second whenever no one is around, but this is rare. 99% of the time im between 10 and 15 mph over the posted limit. in my mind speed limits were posted for all forms of traffic on the road, wether it be a huge UPS truck or a motorcycle. there is no shame in a bike doing 10 mph over the limit

For me I will ride what ever speed I feel safe going. Usually it's about 20Km/h over but it really depends on traffic and what road I'm on. I like to try to miss a light right before a nice corner so I can take it fast and on some straight stretches when theres no cars I'll do over 200K (125Mph) but theres usually to many cars around to go that fast.

I ride to work at 220-240 KPH. I pass the same 3 cars in that 50 km everyday. I ride home about 130, as there is alot more traffic. On empty secondary hiways, I'm to the right of 200 95% of the time, everyplace else, I'm 10-20... maybe 30 faster than traffic. Like Scan said, in residential or school/playground zones, I stick pretty close to the posted limit. I rarely ride in those type areas, though.

I usually do 5 to 10 over on residential streets. On the superslab I tend to stick to about 65 mph. Anything over that and it feels like I'm gonna blow off the back of my bike. I've had it up to 80 or 85 mph and it seemed like I was fighting to hold on. Plus the vibration in the handle bars makes my hands tingly when it gets above 70. Now if I had a windscreen, that would probably make a big difference.
