if you want to add a pic to your sig line, just put in the url of the pic that you want to use between tags. The picture that you want to use has to be stored online (can't be linked from your computer).
Try to keep the size of the pic reasonable so as not to take up to much space.

when using links without a .jpg or a file name you must use [img src=http website/>
replace the first [ with <
so you would get <img src= "http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/hawk_tiff ... pg&.src=ph" />
odd I have never had this not work?
either way when you use the [img] tags you must have a file name for it like http://mywebsite/jen.jpg otherwise the img src tags should work but for some reason they are not??????.
as for gear it all depends on how you feel your worth. I plan on spending $400 on my helmet $300 on my jacket and $160 on my pants. Probably $100 on my boots as well. thats about $1000

Its because yahoo works a bit wierdly... that link effectively becomes a picture, but this bullitin board won't (quite rightly) accept it as such
best option is to put a copy of the photo in http://www.photobucket.com or similar, and link it from there.

Re: me again!
Have you looked at the stickies??? There is a lot of info in them. You'll want to budget arount $800-$1200 for gear (though you can spend way less or more, depending on what you get).redfeather630 wrote:what price range is the gear?
i dont know what kinda bike i would want so i dont have to worrie about wanting a certian kind....
im just wanting to be prepared but am so confused!!![]()
how do you get a pic on your signature?? i wanna put my pic in there!!
GET YOUR HELMET FIRST. That can be the most expensive item (you gotta go with what FITS). Don't worry, you may be able to find a great fit for $100, but if you already spent the rest of your money and then find that only the $500 Arai fits well, you're kind of screwed.
DO NOT BUY your first helmet ONLINE. Print out the Helmet Fit Guidelines and take them with you to try on...

Re: lol
Here in Ohio you have to have your temps before you can take the MSF class. Go the the BMV, buy the packet, and take the written test. Then you are good to go.redfeather630 wrote:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i dont have to get a permit or anything before i go to the classes then??
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
