In a civil conflict such as this, where the two sides have been at odds for centuries, I don't think it's going to get "sorted out" anytime soon. The only way it was kept under control before was because they had a repressive government with an iron fisted dictator. See, the problem here is a simple 'exchange rate' matter. There would be no war if we could somehow agree on the conversion rate between the BJE (bj equivalent) and the DE (diamond equivalent).
