sorry to bring up an old thread but I have a 96 Honda shadow deluxe with 16k miles on it. So should I use the 15w40 rotella t on this bike as well?
Your bike likely calls for 10w40, so you should stick with that unless you experience 100+ degree heat where you ride. . I need to do an oil change (guy hasnt done it since fall of last year and I just hit 16k miles which the manual says to do an oil change at this time). I figure since I dont know the history better safe than sorry
