I think once it has a salvage title theres no way to get rid of it. It's titled as a salvage so people know they are buying a vehicle that was written off.

if its near you and you want to check it out (and see how the numbers match up) all youve got to lose is how ever long your trip is.

this just reminds me of all the national ads on craigslist selling 03-05 sportbikes for like $2400 via escrow service. its so blatant its rediculous.

Don't know if this helps but in thought I would try to help a little bit!!!!

Keep on ridin!!
The sellers doesnt have to provide anything to the buyer in Canada, it's up to the buyer to run vin checks and such. I just sold a bike last week didnt provide anything for the buyer

every state is different, so dont waste you time here. just go to your local auto tag place, or state police barracks, and ask them what needs to be done to convert a salvage title to a regular one, or if you even can.

you probably cant get a regular title, but some states allow you to get a rebuilt title, at which time you can get the bike insured, inspected registered, where as with a salvage title you cant.

but dont waste you time here, this is something you need to check inito with your state.
