Did many people drop their bikes?

Sounds interesting KarateChick, any links? (and is it a local thing or a national thing?)

It was actually one larger figure 8 with 14 bikes in it all at once doing the criss-cross weaving thing. I found it scary because you have to really trust or keep a really good eye on the other riders cause we had to ride between them for weaving - worked our slow skills. One woman refused to participate cause she had dropped her bike 3x already that weekend (good thing too cause I'm sure no one else wanted her in the circles). No drops during that exercise although I cannot say I was particularly thrilled doing it. We drew a pile of watchers with cameras though cause it was in a parking lot at a national park site. It rained (actually poured) practically the entire weekend during that course for an added dimension to the challenges. That gravel road was mud soup too, about a good 3 to 4 inches of oozy sucking mud with hardly any traction.

Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

What's the deal with the Z ? Is skillzday different than skillsday ? Is it somehow more cool ?

If you have to ask, then you won't understand pwned, r0x0r or l33t...

Pwned in l33t are computer-speak. I don't think replacing z with s is computer-speak.

It just one of those 'cool' things. Personally, I think its because everybody wanted to get into the Custom Rims or Car Customs business to find all the business names already registered, so they pick Custom Rimz and Kar Customz instead.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that 'Pimp my Ride' has something to do with it...oh how I despise that show.

the one i am taking in the spring is explained like this:
Our Advanced Course, or "Street Circuit Training" is intended for riders with a class 6 license, some experience and their own bike. The course will emphasize braking, both straight line and in turns, as well as cornering and midcorner corrections. Using Race City Speedway's Road Course allows us to practice techniques at highway speeds with safety.
so where the Basic course is done at 0-15mph, this one is at 30-60mph.
the advanced course covers better cornering techniques as well.

i'd say that's a lot different than the BRC (your course may vary...but you could come to Canada and join us :) )
