I decided to buy a bike (and it ended up being a harley - OMG!! And it was cheaper than the honda I was looking at!! and was more comfortable than the kawasaki I sat on! and I'm not totally broke! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok ok, sorry. Stopping with beating the horse now.

I bought a bike because I didn't want to be like the guy in the commercial you're talking about. I'd wanted to ride for years, but always let other things take priority, and let others who are afraid of motorcycling talk me into postponing. Around April this year I said f it - I want to be riding my own bike by the end of this summer, and set out to do that. I just turned 27 and I feel like I wasted a bunch of years I could have been riding already, but you can't redo the past so at least I'm doing it now.
