Um... ya - but that doesn't help while waiting 5-10 minutes in a traffic tie up. I understand the physics of moving air - it's still freakin' hot around here.
98 degree moving air doesn't do much to cool off a 98.6 degree body, no matter how fast the air's moving.

Topped out at a measly 99 here today, at 6:30pm it's now a mere 95. Hanging out here at work waiting for it to "cool" off a little more....

98 degree air alone may not, but sweat plus 98 degree air does... if the humidity is low enough anyway.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

Humidity? Low? Good grief, man, I'm talkin' about New Jersey here!!! Sometimes the air is so thick we have to sweep it away from our front step in the morning just to get out the door!!

I feel for you all. On the west coast, we are currently experiencing an Arctic weather pattern that has blown in from the ocean.
A moderate temp with some gentle breezes.

I suspect it will be hot by the weekend though. Just in time for the long weekend.

There's sporatic power outages around here and the temps are reaching 108 F with the humidity. I'm glad I put my mesh jacket on and went for a ride... sweat makes for a good coolant.

The thing here in South Florida is, it may get to 90+ for 2-3 months straight, but if you are near the coast, it rarely gets above 95, and you get used to a constant weather pattern. If there is an off season for riding in SoFL, it would be July and August, not because of the heat, but because of the chance of T-storms everyday.

103 degrees and over 50% humidity during midday, this only goes up to 70% by 11pm. Welcome to Georgia.

I haven't skimped on any of my gear yet and don't plan on it. As long as the bike is moving, I don't really think about the heat. Full face vents work well and if I need a little more airflow I just crack the visor up about a quarter of an inch. However, when I'm stopped at an intersection is when I feel like I'm just going to melt right off the bike. :(
