In NY, the course completion paperwork is mailed to the DMV, and they take 4-6 weeks to process it and mail my Road Test Waiver to you. Then you can take your permit and road test waiver to the DMV to get your license.
Bummer. Here in Ohio, you walk away from the training facilities with the successful completion and waiver paper in your hand and can go to the BMV the next day and get you license endorsed.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

In MA youll get your license after passing but you have to have a permit when you sign up for the class to be eligible, otherwise youll have to take the road test (or take the class again) after getting a permit.

what i found silly was they kept telling us to prepay the rmv for our license, and that way once we passed the course, wed get our license in the mail in 21 days. I didnt prepay so i had to go to the rmv wait for 15 minutes and pay the 15 bucks there, but i got a temporary license on the spot (which counts as a full license for 30 days) and my real license came in the mail in like a week.
