yes craigslist is probably the best place online to find bikes. I bought my bike from a guy on craigslist. Make sure you can inspect the bike before buying tho. And yes there are scams on craigslist too. If its too good to be true it's probably a scam. i.e. 2004 hayabusa for $3,000. You see that on ebay all the time.
