I really don't like the idea of a black box in my personal vehicle. The only way I would get one is if I could put it on an on/off switch. Not that I drive dangerously, but who's business is it if I want to go to an autocross, screw around in a parking lot or speed on an empty back road?
It isn't even the point that I probably wouldn't do any of those things in my car.. (maybe my old car, but not the saturn...lol). The point is that if I wanted to, I don't want some nosey agency whom I pay good money for a service, watching my every move.
Insurance companies have you by the balls because you are required to have them (for cars anyway). They forget that we pay their damn salaries. We should organize an insurance industry boycott... just for fun. Everyone would lower their rates.
