I seized my two-stroke the other night, a bit of KY jelly fixed things right up!

"the man" does indeed ride a Jawa. Great little bike, but yes, they are a little odd.
Flynnrider is right, 2 stroke seizure, if caught in time is not as serious as 4 stroke seizure. My engine suffered no ill effects, but yes it will take a few thou off the life. Then again who cares, I will get a bigger bike in a year of two, so this one will be retired and fully rebuilt in the end anyway.
Heat and lubrication seemed to be the problem, can't think why as i've been riding on the same setup for three years on this bike. Anyway I put a richer main jet in, and will bump the oil ratio up for the next few thousand, as it was suggested that the engine is still to tight after the running in, and can sometimes take up to 5000miles to get properly loosened up. (understressed engine you see, whoever heard of a bike redlining at 5500rpm)
Cheers
