i'm not much of a follower of the CFL, but i just looked at the score and yikes, yeah, the bombers are kind of all over the place, after a loss to hamilton though i would just want to give up and quit anyways, lol. Yeah, alberta would be nicer for the longer riding season too, being warmer out west, so i'm not going to disagree with you on that topic, but i'm taking up a trade this fall so maybe i'll be getting out there at some point in the near future!

sorry for the thread hijack lol

heh, yeah cowtown is growing pretty rapidly and people are being paid 10-13 bucks an hour to work at Hortons...of course finding a place to live that isn't crazy expensive is tough too.

:scooter: I've been riding '79 GS550 (banana seat) for the last 5 years. It worked out well when I was 17 but at 23 and 6'1" I find that I can't ride for long without having to stop and stretch my legs. I recently bought an 02 Hayabusa and have put about 2500 miles on it in the last 4 mos. :motorcycle: I know it's a huge leap but I find I can ride for hours and not get the pinching in my hips and legs. I wouldn't recomend the Busa as a first bike as it requires some self discipline or you get into some serious trouble. Anyways, I would recomend something with a longer wheelbase than your everyday 600cc.

I like the SV look. I almost bought a dolled up SV1000 but wanted to do my own mods. I got a stock Busa so any mods. are my doin'. I 'm thinking about dropping the rear an inch or two to make it easier for my shorty to get on and off. I hope it doesn't affect the ride quality.

Hey, I'm 6'2" and about 280, and I just bought a 2001 Suzuki Volusia that fits me great! It's a fairly large bike in that it looks like an 1100 or 1200 cc bike, but it's only 800. Hope you find one that fits right!
