I must be some kind of hardcore nut - 20,000 miles in 2 years. My 03 ZRX 1200 has over 20,000 on it so I think a bike that is that old was possibly ridden too little and may suffer from many years of under use and possible rust and rubber damage (seals and gaskets). Hard to say though. Depends on where it lived too. Also as said above, if it looks like it had a hard life it may be a good one to pass on. Also, the odometer may say 20,000, but it could be 320,000. Hard to tell how many true miles are on an older bike. Unless you know absolute history and have service records or a personal service log, it is an iffy proposition IMHO.
