as a first time rider I suggest choose any bike that has the footpegs in a normal, old fashioned postion that are straight down in the middle of the bike to the rear of the engine, these bikes are easiser to ride and handle and you feel more comfortable and in control of the bike. The C50 and the M50 has a forward postion of the footpegs, the footpeg on the right is blocked by the air cleaner sticking out and you will find out ur right foot will only touch the outside of the footpeg, then you find yourself twisting ur ankle so you can touch it and its uncomfortable. I feel more secure and stable with the bike when my feet are planted tight and secure to the footpegs. The only cruiser bike with a good location of the forward footpegs is the Kawasaki Mean Streak, go and sit on that bike, Im betting it will fit you perfect. Please don't buy the Suzuki C50 or M50, both bikes are uncomfortable and low on power, they "Clunk" when you shift, they handle like a horsewagon, and they have electrical problems and broken frame welds that Suzuki can't fix.
