My father has MD, and first had the laser treatment (light sensitive drug, then laser to the eye), and now he's been getting an injection that does pretty much the same thing.

He's actually shown some improvement lately. In a month between treatments he's been able to read a few more lines on the chart.

BUT... i can't see clear very far. it's all blurry to me. i can see objects from afar but not the details of the object.

i still ride and drive. although, i get lost a lot and miss my turns since i can't read city streets until i get realy close.

i look and ask for landmarks instead of city street names when i wanna go somewhere im not familiar w/.

anyway... hope it gets better for you. :D
Thats being nearsighted verm. Thats why I wore glasses for 15 years. Thats why people wear glasses every day...

I had my lasik done the end of june. Three months out and its quite a wonderful change to be able to see everything I'm looking at without glasses or contacts. I was only mole blind in one eye, the other was just poor.

ofblong, your 20/15 vision even with a blind spot is a heck of a lot better than some of the drivers on the road these days - or at least it sure seems like it the way some of them drive.

Hope it works out well for you and there's no further problems. The only thing that bothers me after lasik is night driving in the rain on wet roads with headlight glare coming towards me.
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Have you, uh, ever thought of getting glasses or contacts?

You need them.

You're nearsighted, like I am, and like millions of other Americans.

Most of them wear glasses or contacts to fix it, though.

Seriously. Go to LensCrafters or Wal Mart or whatever and see an eye doctor and get some contacts. You'll be surprised.
