I'm not a huge fan of either company but I'd have to choose the Triple. That engine gets rave reviews for having a powerband that's dead center between a V-twin and an inline four. Sounds like fun!

I have wanted a speed triple for about a decade. I just love the styling and with the changes over the years it just looks better and better.
I got a chance to have a nice long test ride and I must say that I was disappointed when I got off the bike. It did everything well but it really seemed to lack character and for a bike that looks so good it was a real let down.
If I ever bought one I would have to spend several thousand on it straight away to get rid of those terrible cans and give it a decent re-map.
It has a lot of potential but in its stock form it is rather "meh".

I got to test 07 blk scg today. My 1st impresion was WOW! It looks hot w/blk wheels. @ idle it was like i was sitting on a washing machine. Once going it was bit smoother. I was surprise of how it had that let's get up & go feeling. Just hop on & go. the throttle was so responsive. I got to take it on the freeway for about a good 16mi. round trip on the 91, that's when the bike seemed like a whole diff. bike so smooth, the vib was completly gone It was a comfortable ride I didn't feel as if i had to hold on @ 60-80mph.
Well after the ride I got excited! The best deal I got was, 9995 sticker 12035otd.
When I got home I just felt I did not want my sporty NOMORE. I know it's a bit of criuser but the Buell felt more of a cruiser than the sporty.
I should really test the Speed Triple b-4 making the desicion I know the Triple has a less sticker but maint & ins. it's a bit more.
Hopefully I'll test it tomorrow.
