Or save yourself the money and tuck your laces into your boots. It works. I've never once got my tucked in laces tangled in any part of the bike.

+1 to that. I will sometimes get lazy and think about just tying them up and leaving them hanging there, but I just imagine the possibility of my laces getting stuck on something while I'm riding and I take the extra 2 seconds to tuck them into the boot.

It's all about leverage, verm. You have to lift it a certain way. Take advantage of the bike's low COG. There's a post about it somewhere around here.

I too weigh in at 130, my Aero is 519, and I picked it up alone. Now that I know I can, I see no reason to have to do it ever again!

I have almost done the same thing with my Vulcan, my jeans cuffs have sometimes gotten caught on the foot pegs..kinda throws you for a loop when you know your foot should go further down and it wont...
Glad to hear the bike and the body are OK!

after a few more drops... you won't even care.
anyway... im only 130lbs and picking up a bike the weighs 3x as me is not easy. i can do it... but not easy.
If can pick my KZ up with one leg free and one twisted up under the bike then you should be able to lift your bike pretty easily. While we're on this ratio's thing my bike is 525lbs and I'm 150 so my ratio is 3.5:1 easily outstripping your measly 2.9:1. Maybe you should listen to the working out advice

.
Good luck and good riding!
