I'm going to phone my local Harley dealer tomorrow and see what they have their V-Rods listed for. I wonder if they're a hot item out west and that's why the price is higher? But I remember seeing an article that said Deeley Canada wasn't going to put up with the price gouging cr*p anymore... maybe they weren't serious...?

it was the 2007 Night rod special.....I got the price from the HD canada website.

I have riden a lot of different bikes... the V-rod was so impressive that I had to have one. I got it new 7/2003. She now has 27600+ miles and I have enjoyed all of them... I'm not a drag racer or anything but I did open her up and have done a 12.1 quarter mile. they say the pros can do 11.5 sec stock. With mods they are getting close to the high 8s. Is the vmax faster? YES... but nothing else in this class is and when you consider the styling and the "American" muscle... well it is the bike for me.
