OK, So i'm a bit of a brand mean as well (Not to mention a certif Duc Tech) so I'll tell you, if you love sexy bikes, and you find an ST3 in your price range Get it !!!

If you're worried about the valves, DON'T! They are very easy to check yourself and rarely require adjusting. They do require a valve shim keeper (A small wire c-clip thingy) to be replaced every 6k, but there are aftermarket shim keepers guaranteed to change your valve check interval to 12k and I'd swear by them.

Thanks for the advice... I'm still a little ways away from getting another touring bike, but I will certainly consider your suggestion. You make it sound like it's not too difficult... even for a moron like me! :laughing:

I need to get a digital camera... perhaps I'll do a little shopping today for one. 8)
