Where do you get these odds? Because this year, I've seen two plates come off on group rides. Both times at high speeds towards my head. I guess that means I've ridden with about 200 bikes?
85% of statistics are made up on the spot, including this one...

A person who is truly cool would realize there is no need to announce they are cool. Therefore, that falls back into the meaningless stat column.
