Yeah, it does use DOT3. At least that what it says on my fluid resevoir.

Hi Shutter,
23 is just a kid. This ole lady is jumping in (or on)at 47. Better late than never, Right?
Looking forward to MSF this weekend and can't wait to get my bike on the road. I got a 1981 Honda CM400T off eBay and am getting parts off eBay as well.
