I'm just a young one then only 20 years in. Thank God I don't work as a carrier anymore, now I just drive the mail out to the stations for those poor carriers to deliver...

On the MSF course: We learned as much from our classmates as the instructors. Many students have years of experience. Don't be afraid to pick their brains -- everyone likes talking about their bikes and their experiences.
Don't sweat "the box" -- it ain't easy, but dropping a foot won't disqualify you (I know from experience).
