When I worked at an auto dealership, sales would turn over their customers to the service manager, who then contracted with various aftermarket outfitters.

You say "I want black nerf bars on my truck please". Then they say, "Ok drop the truck off here 9am Monday morning and we'll call you when it's ready. It'll be $485" :laughing:

That's more or less how it went at that dealership. Motorcycles dealerships probably vary.

Oh yeah, the "in" salesman always got to split the commission with the service manager. Everyone else who referred customers got screwed :roll:

Bingo! Thats how it goes down at dealerships here too.

You can get anything that Suzuki makes aftermarket wise through a dealership. Now be warned you are going to pay more if you go that route. My advice would be to find a site online that sells alot of aftermarket parts or you could always find a shop that does that kind of work.
