I love ninja 250

I weigh about 230-240, and any time I touch the front brake, the bike nosedives. The bargain bin suspension isn't designed for larger people. Yes, you can ride it, and it is a really fun bike, but I honestly didn't feel safe riding the thing in a spirited fashion with the suspension bottoming out. Now, some stiffer springs or performance shocks might fix that, but it is just something I noticed.

I know there is the guy who is about my size on the forums that has the ninja 250... I am wondering if you have the same problems with yours. My friend's is an 06.

I never had that problem by myself; But I weigh about 100lbs. less than you do ... However, I had enough 100lb. girls on the back of the bike to know what you mean.

Yea I still want to throw a leg over a ninja 250 for the experience. The head instructor at my tech. college use to have a ninja 250 until he traded it in for a new kawasaki cruiser. And almost like once a week he tells me he should have kept his 250!
