What these oxygen wasters need is to have not just their funerals protested, but their weddings, their birthdays, their kid's school plays, their parents houses, their weekly shopping trips, and most of all, their jobs  protested by thousands of enraged citizens until they either get the piont or get dead. And maybe some helping getting that piont or dead.....

I hope they suffer when it comes.... suffer very, very much.... in front of their families....

Surely a funeral is a religious ceremony of sorts, and by protesting one, are they not disrespecting the god they pray to?

Extremists exist all over the world, (un)fortunately none of them pick up weapons in our so called civilised countries. The biggest problem is that most mutilate religion, and use it as a cover for their own perverted view of the world.

The second religion is involved, the government suddenly starts acting sheepish, and fails to lock these people up for civil unrest.

Its a shame that its got to the point where the patriot guard has had to be formed to mop up the governments failings, but yes they're the ones to help you :?

I have only heard the woman, and she is the pastor's daughter. She knows the bible like the back of her hand.

She claims GOD is PUNISHING people with these deaths - in Iraq, in Thailand, in the Amish Community. She says these poeple KNOW what they do is wrong, and that they deserve to die as they are EVIL - responsible for all the evil in the world. She claimed the Amish childre died becasue GOD was punishing PA for the actions of politicians. That these children were sinners, and DESERVED to die!

Her church feels the soldiers deserved to die becasue they are evil, killers, and Bush followers.

It's maddening!! She is very well spoken - but oh so very focused. I hav heard her on at least 3 radio shows where the interviers get so frustrated trying to get a word in. FOr example, withthe Amish children, her thoughts are simply INSANE - yet she stood her ground.

I think the church is mainly her family - she has like 11 kids.

Someone will get mad enough to kill her. I know in history there have been many who spoke out or forced change, not always accepted by the whole community, who were killed so senselessly, but they made strides in society that improved things. This woman has no purpose.

That's the insane part - she doesn't think SHE's a bigot or insane - she is following God's word, God's will, doing God's work.

This woman may have the Bible memorized, but evidently she doesn't understand what the Bible says.

This seems common to religious extremists - they can quote minute bits of their scripture out of context, and twisted to support whatever pre-determined agenda they have.

I believe in God.

I also believe that every religion is a man-made construct, and therefore flawed at best, and more often than not evil and self-serving.

I'm pretty sure God would want nothing at all to do with any 'religion' as presented by mankind... Idiots like this crazy broad and her ilk only confirm it for me.

I don't believe in God - not one out of a book, anyway.

Most religious organisations are packed with people with eccentric ideas, some are well meaning, some just plain malicious (god knows! but I've met enough of them in my life) but institutional religion itself is pretty much always destructive and devisive. This woman sounds like she has some malicious, self-interested motivation for what she is doing which she is hiding under a load of biblical language. She also sounds completely self-deluded. People in my experience are capable of convincing themselves of the most incredible absurdities - religious and otherwise.

In my view of the world, some patriots too are well-meaning and some are just plain malicious but patriotism itself is pretty much always destructive and devisive. I've known kids join the military for all sorts of reasons. Most of them are deluded by state propaganda. The motives of the state in sending armies into combat are generally self-interested and hypocritical. The kids may or may not be heroes (most aren't, they are just ordinary vulnerable human beings dying cynically in a cynical cause). The hypocricy of state or military funerals disgusts me.

This woman protesting military funerals sounds to me like one giant hypocricy challenging another.

The only people who will truly suffer in all this are the familes of the dead kids - and the families of the dead whom the kids might have killed in the course of their 'duties'. It never seems to stop. It just goes round and round. One of the reasons I don't believe in god.
