I'm envious. :)

<- Purcased that one back in '74 When the picture was taken. Had 11 fun filled years with it. Definitely my favourite bike.

Tank slap,

It's when you let go of the handlebars, raise one hand in the air, yell "yeeeeeee-haaaw" and slap the tank with the other hand.

1979 Honda CBX. Six cylinders of awesome power in a frame made for a bicycle. Going too fast for the frame, took a sharp bend and it started wobbling.

Give it the gas to get out of it. Scary feeling

Weebles Wobble and they do fall down!

Doing about a buck fifty (km).
I was accelerating up a hill in a corner and hit a small bump mid corner.
She shook her head hard enough to swing loose my left mirror.

Loosened up on the bars and accelerated slightly and the shake dissapeared.

I broke down the front end, inspected the steering head bearings, and repacked the grease.

Is that everything?
WHAT?

I disagree. It's not a "bad time" so much as some squid acting like a *(#&$ moron. Driving unsafely-> crash. What a surprise.

In his defense, he was doing it on what appeared to be a deserted stretch of road with no obstacles either in the road or anywhere near it. He was trying to put the bike back down when he saw the car up ahead.
