Looks like an SV650, and the SV650S model isn't THAT much different from the other SV650.

Anyways... I would suggest the SV650S, my next choice would be the ZR-7.

ZR-7 and SV650(s) are street bikes,
but, some people say that SV650s is a sport bike. Maybe, but NOT the supersport like ZX-6R. ZX-6R is far more agressive than SV, and it is more difficult in handling than SV. engines are different, powerbands and throttle length (if I can say like that - in SV there is much space to make mistakes with a throttle)...

This is what I mean. If your only experience is looking at it and determining what "type" of bike it is, then how helpful is that?

I've ridden all three of these bikes. With regards to general riding characteristics, the SV and the ZR7 have much in common. They are much more suitable for everyday street riding that the ZX-6R which is optimized for the race track. They deliver similar power, with the SV having a broader band, but not radically different. Brakes and suspension are also of general street bike quality. Optimized for safety and comfort in normal street riding, rather racing on a track.

The ZX-6R is an entirely different animal, with entirely different ride qualities.

performance-wise... the ZR7 and SVS is close

No. You missed my point again. Just looking doesn't do the trick. Ride all three. The SVS tips you forward a bit, but it is still very much upright when compared to the ZX-6. I'd have no problems taking the SVS on a 300 mile day trip. I'd take the same trip on the ZX-6 (as long as there were twisties on the route), but only for a very good reason.

Hint : Most of my riding time on "R" type sportbikes comes from having to trade bikes with riding pals whose backs just couldn't take it anymore.
