this is old news. Though it excites me for more than getting litre bike power out of a 600 chasis. This means developing new motors and technology, that alone makes it special to me. And GP bikes DO affect the publicly available bikes, they're supposed (and required by GP rules i htought) to be prototypes and test beds for new technologies that slowly trickle their way down to what we get on the street. Fly by wire, slipper clutches, traction control? all are recently available (or coming soon) to us mortals. A lot of thanks to MotoGP for that.
