i dont have a jobBuzZz wrote:But honestly, I'm not really sorry. I don't really feel it's my responsibility to alert anyone to the fact they are in danger of getting caught frittering away thier employers time. You can justify it to yourself anyway you like, but you ain't gonna justify it to me. (or your boss, I'm guessing)![]()
i would just like a fair warning before i start going off unknowingly clicking on umm, questionable sites..BuzZz wrote:the same goes for keeping someone else's kids from watching a bike video then clicking a link to collage girls, sorry but it's not my job to raise other peoples kids. flame away.....
I'm a 17 yr old girl who is unable to sleep, that's why i love this site so much!BuzZz wrote:No worries logitech, I wasn't really trying to bust your particular balls, just railing against having to play nanny to the internet public at large.![]()
I understand the convention of 'warning' people about what may or may not be arrived at from a particular link (hence the warning I did add), I just don't agree with it. However, that is my problem, not anyone else's.... I just like to call attention to the fact that some people(no one in particular) feel the need to be 'lead by the hand' through life's (or the net's) hazards. Specifically, sites that might call attention to the fact that they are wasteing their employers time, or that their kids might click a link on a page and get an eyefull of adult situations. Neither of which I feel are really my problem or responsibility... if your worried about your boss catching you goofing off, don't goof off. If your worried about you kids clicking pron(we won't even get into what I think about the censorbot changing the word p.o.r.n into 'popcorn') links, put some type of netnanny filter on your comp, or better yet, watch your kids better. P.C.ness is a pet peeve of mine, I am more into personal responsiblilty, but that's rapidly being killed off by proponents of such garbage.
Your unemployed and don't spend all day surfing pron? You sure your alive?
