Eh, they are use to it. The bikes don't mind waiting. They arn't going anywhere when they are in the showroom floor.

Just went through the exercise you went through of "what bike?" First, pick a bike that fits your body. Second, figure out what other issues are important to you. Every locale has different access to brand support. For me, maintenance, handling, and future boredom were the primary issues. The concensus pick from most of the sources I looked pointed me at my Ninja 250R. But I also live in the North American capital of Kawasaki, so personal bias is undoubtedly an issue!
