Maybe what we are seeing here are wholesale prices and what we are use to is the retail price.
I will let you all know, and if it's good then we finally beat the system. :D

I bought my jacket from bikerleather.com and I have been extremely happy with it. Very heavy weight, good quality leather, well constructed and the price was great. I have model BMJ800. The frequently give discounts for ordering online also. It ended up costing me right around $85 total.

It looks a lot like the jafrum site, the prices are almost the same.

The jacket I liked was still $280 on the jafrum site so I went ahead and ordered something from newenough.com yesterday. I got a jacket by Tourmaster for $183 - they don't show you the price until you send your email - don't ask me why - here's the link if you want to see it -

I'll post a review in this thread after it arrives - looks like a nice jacket. It's vented and has removable lining and armor and it attaches to some pants if that's your thing.

I bought some saddlebags from Jafrum, they are functional and I haven't ran into any problems with them in the 10 or so months I have had them. The quality is about what you would expect, cheaply manufactured, but functional. Overall a positive experience.

I'm still waiting for the jacket to come in, it's been 3 weeks now. Man how I hate having to wait for things. :)

Three weeks - that stinks. I guess I'm glad I ordered something from newenough.com then. They promised me less than a week so our stuff will probably arrive around the same time. I don't EXPECT any quality problems from newenough as it's all name-brand stuff, but you never know for sure until you see it. We can both rate our experiences here and have two of the lower-cost vendors covered.
